New Multimedia PC

Right, I really need a new PC.

It must have an integrated TV Tuner card with remote, and be very quiet.

Must have:

a half decent screen say min 20".
Decent processor (god knows what that is these days, guessing Intel Dual core jobby)
2Gb RAM
Separate graphics card.

It's mostly going to be used for web browsing, some web work, etc.

My budget is £600 what's the recommendation?

Also what's the deal with the TV Tuner card, can I hook up a portable aerial to it? I don't have an aerial on my house just Sky.

You wont get freeview on portable unless you live near a trasmitter and/or buy an amplifier.

However my recomendation would be a Nova-T 500 (dual freeview tuners)

I'll probably stick with an analogue card as I won't be shelling out for an aerial

But I assume the above will cover both analogue and digital?

Are amplifiers any good, worth the money?

Also what sort of response time on the monitor is acceptable for TV?

I won't be watching it that much, just Sunday morning telly when I can't be bothered to go into the living room
