New Renaultsport as early as march.....

4car have said the new clio should be out in July with a renaultsport model following as early as 6 months later. This seems rather soon to me. The article can be found here:

The new normal Clios are due later this year (Id guess theyll be released just before September so people can test drive and order then on the new plate).

The new Sport is due Summer 2006

The eventual replacement for Clio goes on sale in the Uk in October with the Renaultsport version in summer 2006

Well what you have seen in spy shots may not represent what is produced as an end product, in fact im pretty sure it wont.

When a sports version comes on to the market, sporting large alloy wheels and presumebly sportier front, rear and side skirts, it will again look quite different to the standard version.

I didnt really like the look of the megane, but it has really grown on me. In recent shots that I have seen of it Ihave grown to become rather fond of that motor.

The baby got back.

a friend of mine test drove a megane trophy for the day today and he hates Renaults, always slating them, is a golf man.

He called me up to tell me how fantastic it was, said it was amazing handling and the speed was awesome!

It seems they have got it right with the Trophy!

As for the new RS Clio, im sure it will be amazing, Renault dont normally disppoint and remember, this is their biggest market for RS and they sell so many of them it would not be in their best interest ot product a crap one!

Ill certainly be test driving one as soon as its out or i may even order one blind like I did with the 182.

Its growing on me, certainly potential for a nice Sport model, 3 doors, spoiler, redesigned grill, bigger wheels. I am really struggling with those rear lights, but saying that I didnt like the new Megane at first.

Yeah I agree, I think its a real grower, and with the RS add-ons Im sure Ill want one!
