Dont ya just hate new roads?

Ive just taken my nice shiney 172 for a quick blast to the shops and back, and the council are busy laying a new road on my route. It isnt quite finished yet, and the tar was still wet. I now have the task of cleaning a load of tar from the bottom front, side and rear of my once clear motor.

Worse than that on the back roads where I stay they dont seem to bother taking the loose chippings off after re-laying it!! I hit one a few weeks ago - had to drive about 5 miles under 15mph to stop hunderds of stone chips
