Yet Another Clio 172 Cup Road/Track (no 3)

  Cup In bits
Shame to hear your considering selling (who am i to talk), but as with most these things its probably worth more in bits and selling car near standard?

Aye any specialist or low market value car will always be worth more in bits. Its the effort required in selling and sending everything, my parents already joke they feel like they work in a parts warehouse, my dad was even considering a forklift and getting my mum trained up to make it easier haha.

It will probably be the way it ends up going which is a shame as you have seen the car yourself but who ever buys the modified car or standard car will get a nice example.

EVERYONE THATS INTERESTED IN BUYING PARTS THEN PM ME A PRICE OF WHAT YOU WOULD BE WILLING TO PAY AND I WILL DO THE MATHS.

Id love a forklift. Lol .

What condition are the Spax in? (For Cubie)

I'd be interested in the coilovers and engine mounts. Don't need the dog bone though. Happy to collect them as well, save the hassle of posting. Let me know what your after for them.

Coilovers are good in function as they were freed and adjusted and changing the damping makes a huge different. The yellow paint on the bodies isn't great but I have been 'told' they had done circa 4000 miles prior to getting the car.

Everything is staying together just now but I'll keep you in mind if you could supply your standard stuff as a replacement. The car needs to stay complete.

Prices with everything is something I can't be bothered to go check the going rate just now tbh. If/when I do break it and a decent figure is offered on anything I'll take it ;)

Got a few jobs done in the last few days, just bits and pieces from using it on track and to standardise the car a little.

The arch liners were fitted up again to keep things clean

While doing that I found the remains of my last track day

One of the CV boots had been weaping since I got the car, I only realised after re clipping the boots when the car initially came with them off. Genuine parts used.

The discs that were on had got some pic up off the ds2500's on the last TD so they needed replacing. Brembo HC's, quickly painted the centres to keep them fresh.

Threw them on after stripping and rebuilding the calliper mounts and slides.

With the CV boot leaking the wheels were covered in grease.

Gave all 4 a quick hit with some g101 front and back.

The buckets and harnesses came out to make room for the standard seats again, I gave everything a good hoover while they were out.

Changed the exhaust over from the BTB stealth to an Oreca group N cat back.

The wheel had always looked tatty since I got the car with hand oils turning the alacantra to a leather look. I decided to give it a once over to see how it came out. The results were prett good for some fairly liquid and a nail brush, almost brand new.

The drivers door handle had been tatty too since I got it. I had a spare so decided to swap that over too.

A few parting shots. My mate kindly clayed the car for me as I had no time myself.

So that's the car all ready for its new owner to come collect tomorrow morning, I hope you enjoy it as much as I did the last 2 months and appreciate a lot of the hard work that has went in. You know who you are ;)

How are you finding the Megane Morgan?

From the 10 miles I have driven it I'm liking it so far. What I have noticed is the driving position is awkward but I have plans to change that. It will be getting a dose of work done in a month when I'm home.

Anyone got a set of ear plugs i could borrow? :p

Yeah I should have warned you about that, Oreca exhausts are pretty bloody loud and at the weirdest of times too, like when you sit in traffic and when your in over run.
