Is there a fix for this? Only had them fitted a week ago and the drivers one seemed to be knocking. Had a quick look under the bonnet, was trying to move the engine (to exclude worn engine mounts from the equation) and my attention was drawn to the knocking of the drivers strut top. It appears loose but getting two spanners on it and its tight as buggery.
With only one spanner on it turns much easier than the passenger. Does the M14 washer trick work? And to clarify I remove the nut, top hat and then drop the washer on then reassemble it?
