first would like to say hi
Recently brought a 172 2003 and booked her on track on Tuesday 20th at oulton park
Car has a few bits and pieces on I.e exhaust and filter (ramair)
But looking for advice from a more experienced member please as to what I should spend my money on

Tbh typhoon I haven't even set one yet
I'm just looking for advise on what bits work well
It's a daily runner atm but with intention for just track use
Seen a few posts relating to rs2 what's that ???

RS2 is an inlet mate. Had mixed reviews. Cheapest and quickest would be mapping it with RSTuner.

Cheapest way to make it faster is to throw away anything you don't need. Find @dann2707 build thread for inspiration.

as mentioned a remap is cheap and gets a few more horses. Strip it out takes about an hour to remove rear bench and door cards. Reducing the weight gets you some free performance. Lighter wheels as the standard 172 alloys are a bit chunky, that'll help acceleration and braking. To get loads of power means spending some serious cash. Cams and remap can get it around 190-200bhp on average. If you want even more then your talking turbo or superchargers £££..

Gonna see how she copes and make a decision on how much cash I'm gonna pump into her

Really fancying a turbo project with her but it's not gonna be cheep to forge the engine Turbo kit seem sensible money

You may be better off signing as a member on here for £12, getting access to the classified and buying the box cheaper. Then you just need to get the map and unlock code. Plenty of threads on it here dude.
