new uprated shocks or coilovers???

i've got two leaking shocks on my 172 and was pondering on wether or not to get new shocks or coilovers?? its already lowered 45 mil at the moment and it sits sweet. heard coilovers are bumpy and a pain to set up.got a budget 0f 400 roughly to spend any ideas ??

I think most people who have owned a few different sets of coils will tell you, you get what you pay for when it comes to ride/comfort/handling.

I have ktec coils on mine and they are a definate improvement over sportline springs but still crashy on rough surface!

If you increase your budget to around £500 I think the Weitec are rated ok but im sure someone will correct me

as the coilovers will be uprated by 30% or more then you will have to live with a harsher ride. Personally I am happy with my Eibachs for serious country road driving where I dont have to worry about holes in the road.
