Newbie Alarm Question (Not 3 Beeps)

Hello all, yes another newbie, ordered a Clio 182 with Cup packs last week, cant wait.... It was meant to be for the other half but she decided to get a Astra Coupe so I thought bu**er it i will get the Clio then.

This brings me to my question, the Clio has a Cobra Alarm (I think thats right anyway), but the Astra Coupe she has bought doesnt have an alarm; is it worth trying to get a Cobra one, are they any good, considering the posts with the 3 beep issue, or can anyone recommend one for the Astra.
