Hi,
Just bought myself a 182 as a winter car/potential track toy. Having only paid £1100 naturally there are some issues. (Got to love drunken ebaying !)
Briefly owned a 172 many years ago and always been impressed by these little cars on track.
List of known issues after a week of driving:
-Boot won’t open
-Abs kicks in below 10 mph – Think I have a damaged/corroded driveshaft abs ring
-Usual steering wheel melting
-Steering wonders when pushing on - Could this be the steering tie rods or the control arm bushes ??
-This morning the heater blowers decided they had had enough and packed in – suspect this could be the heater resistor
-Exhaust heatshield rattle
-Needs a good detail
Im a fully paid up member so will take advantage of the how too guides to try and fix my issues above.
I want to firstly fix the niggles and then look at the suspension, I want a fast road/track set up but don’t really want to go daft with the budget or completely ruin the ride.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks for reading
Cheers
Adam
