[Next Gen/PC] GTA V

I can't even get on it anymore. The servers are so messed up for me.

The best gun is the heavy sniper mk 2 with explosive rounds. One shot will blow up a vehicle. The minigun is powerful too. Best way to get money is find a hacker and make friends with them lol. The legit ways take soooo long and even then you usually get killed doing the final drops. I've had over 150million over the years from hackers, but they've nerfed it a bit now so you can't be given so much. I like the deluxo best for flying and shooting.

Yeah I've got to wait until my RP is up to 90 first, and I'm only on 67.
Also, why do certain players find it so easy to kill me? Is there auto aim on the heavy sniper??

I think it's a relatively new thing isn't it? I'm pretty sure it's something they introduced not too long ago.

Yeah I just realised it came with a recent update. Ive been having fun today seeing which cars are best and trying to speed boost with it. The blackfin is my favourite so far

The only trouble with GTA is pretty much everything has been discovered already on YouTube. There's even a guy who put every single car in the game in order of speed after racing all of them against each other.
Literally everything I've looked up has had several YouTube answers/advice/tutorials.

Yeah there are dedicated channels that test and rate everything. Some are pretty interesting tbh

Like this video series which really lets you appreciate how much work went in to the game

Well they've had enough time to get on with things, GTA 5 is coming up for 6 years old.

Other studios will kick out a title every year, Fifa, Call of Duty etc etc

To be fair when you put that much detail into a game it’s not something you can bang out a new one of every year. Especially when you are still releasing content for the existing one.

GTA is probably the best attempt to capture ‘the world’ in a game yet seen.

Agreed with Callum... GTA had aged really well and is still pretty much the only game I play. I just wish I'd started playing online sooner as I feel a bit late to the party. I'm getting quite good now though, but I'm turning into a bit of a naughty griefer!

It was pretty manic when it first came out, there was a bug people could exploit for virtually unlimited money. Then go and stick a massive bounty on someone for a laugh.
Destroying other players cars didn't matter either - whats a few grand when you've got several billion?

Me and the guys at work used to place GTA5 on PC a couple of years ago. It started off being a frustrating game as you'd work hard in the game and get very little money in return (bit like real life I suppose!).

Yet you'd be constantly made aware of all the latest vehicles or property in the game. This is done intentionally by Rockstar as they want you to purchase in game money in the form of shark cards. After weeks of playing it and getting frustrated at the lack of cash one of my mates started buying these shark cards and could afford some of the decent kit.

It was around this time that I discovered the 'pedestrian drop' hack, which made me a whole lot richer than my mate despite his shark cards.

I ended up buying tons of kit and found there was no real challenge anymore, so I ended up getting bored again anyway XD

I do fancy firing it up again now though after being away from it for so long. If only just to drive my pimped out APC again

I’d love Vice City for GTA 6, but I don’t think it will be as much fun as the standalone game on PS2.

People are talking about a fictional America for the next GTA, with Liberty City, Vice City, San Fierro, Los Santos and Las Venturas all on the map. No idea how they’d be able to get so much detail in.

Right now I’m leaning towards a remake of Liberty City again but HIGHLY detailed. Every street of Manhattan recreated, proper density of traffic and pedestrians, more interactive interiors etc.

I do get the impression most players don't work for their money/vehicles. Many times I've come across gamers who rock-up on their Oppressor Mk2's or similar expensive machinery and can't shoot for sh*t. I regularly outwit players with a much higher rank, and I'm no assassin!

This is me, although tbf trying to fly that oppressor and shoot at the same time is impossible with a keyboard and mouse set up as you need both hands on the keyboard to fly the thing and the fire button is on the mouse, I need to get a controller.

Oppressors are meant to be the deadliest vehicles in the game but I deal with them easily enough... I let them chase me to a multi storey carpark and I hide (out the car so they can't lock onto me) and when they hover nearby I shoot them with the Combat MG.

Yea a flying bike with mounted guns was just stupid, talk about running out of content and just taking the piss.

I'm in a dilemma as to whether I should buy an Oppressor in the sales. I don't buy Shark Cards so it's taken me ages to save the money I have, especially as I don't 'grind' either.
Problem is, I only have enough for the Oppressor Mk2 and not the Terrorbyte or Nightclub so I'll have to wait ages yet again to upgrade it.
I'm wondering if it's worth it and whether there's an alternative fun vehicle that'll keep me entertained.

The bane of the superior input method! :)

The problem with cross platform games is that they are invariably engineered to accommodate pad controls - to comply with the masses and all that. As such, elements like yoke inputs for flying and subtle changes in direction for a cars' steering are nothing but poor at best. When you get to the FPS part in games such as these, the tables are quite clearly turned and no pad that I've used yet, can match the dexterity, smoothness and accuracy of K&M.

Thankfully, there appears to be an increasing trend where the PC version of a game supports both input methods. No longer do you have to compromise with one or the other - but you get the best of both worlds. Jump in a vehicle and pickup the pad. Pull up and bail out on foot - back on with the K&M. It works well - really well.

It's like a warzone around the front of the casino as everyone spawns in or drives up :D

Jesus lol.

Not logged in for ages but I miss the days of simple street races/missions and saving up for the early cars.

I think the casino is quite an impressive update. Shame I'm not really the gambling type so probably won't use it.

I was a bit of a dick last night... Camped out on the roof of a tower block taking out casino visitors with my sniper rifle.

I was bored.

I’ve had 3 or 4 goes now and only won clothes and rp, not that the car would be any good to me I only ever drive around in armoured or weaponised cars, mostly the nightshark love that car, the guns are pretty useless but it has really good armour so I just attach sticky bombs to it and blow them up. Oh and you’re safe from oppressors in the nightshark too, it takes 26 missiles to kill it and they only carry 20.

Yep, the Nightshark is the only car I drive also. For anything else I use the Oppressor.
