Went to have a look today. Probably the cleanest mk2 bodywork i've ever seen.
Couldn't see any accident damage, had bumper stickers, just needed the wheels tidying up.
Needs belt doing, they will do it in the price (and are borrowing proper tools apparently) Or, preferably he'll knock £500 off the price straight away if he doesn't do the belts, which isn't bad considering they are much less than that at a specialist, the extra would pay for a dephaser.
