Kids. I occasionally buy a game for the ps4 thinking I’ll play it. Never došŸ˜‚

Mario Party is a good family game you could all get into and have a laugh. Full of mini games etc.

Minecraft as said is an obvious choice.

Any of the lego games are good too (depends what they are into) I like the star wars ones but I'm a Nerd.

Just got one of these for kids, got Mario Kart, any other games folks recommend?
Me and the 4 year old have been playing:
Lego Star Wars the Skywalker Saga
Mario Wonder

and he likes to help me out with Mario Rabbids Kingdom Battle but he doesn't really understand what to do.

@seb

Just an idea of some of the games we picked up or he bought for birthday etc. Think we only have 2 or 3 digital games.

Just realised they aren't in order which is upsetting my OCD a little.
@ForceIndia A few that Luca has, added in a Turtles one with his birthday money. Most are good fun.

He also has downloaded fall guys, street fighter (likes martial arts)

Me and the boy having been playing Mario Odyssey. I'm going to say it is one of the best games I have ever played and he loves it. It somehow has enough to make some part really challenging but still doable by a 5 year old.

Anything that competes with Odyssey I should be getting for us to play, doesn't have to be strictly 2 player as we take it in turns if single player?

Switch availability only other wise we'd get it on the xBox.

I absolutely loved Mario Odyssey too.

Have you got Mario 3D all-stars? Not sure how much that is to buy on the digital store (don't even entertain getting the physical version as it is like hens teeth and fetches stupid money)

That 3D allstars game has Mario 64, which is still a great game but maybe the graphics will be a bit of a let down for your son.
But Mario sunshine is a great game (from the gamecube)
And it also has Mario Galaxy on it which is really good and is what came before Odyssey so not a million miles away with the concept.

Luca loves Odyssey. I think he prefered it even to Mario Wonder. He played some mario 64 on the classics section he liked that.

He's completed quite a few games so after passing his recent grading I got him hogwarts legacy for £9 off the store. He loves it so far. He's harry potter obsessed so he's happy when he gets to play.
