No Brakes !!!!

My sis has a 2002 dynamique clio , ahe told me today she has a problem when undertaking an emergency stop in that she has no brakes but they work fine otherwise. My first impression is maybe ABS related ?? Any ideas ?

Told her to book it in to get checked out tommorrow

Must admit that similar to what happened to me, why does there need to be a vacuum on it though ben?

its just because they use a pressure to help drive the servo, so you put force in with your foot, then the vacum from the inlet pressure is used too.

if the pipe is loose then they can start to idle a bit higher too, as the has a source of air after the TB

on yours it at the back of the "renault sport" plenham, just right of the coil pack holder.

will be a plastic tube with a rubber hose crimped on it

they just push onto the inlet

just use two cable ties to nip it up nice and tight, take it for a spin.. if it feels better then for a permo fix use a small jubille (sp) clip
