no windscreen cover :(

i need to get into my alarmbox and the wiper arms are seized, therefore a possiblity of cracking my windscreen, £260 for a new one fitted ... i rang my insurance and they told me that i do not have windscreen cover (quinn direct) and would have to wait until next year to add it so if i was to crack my windscreen then i will loose NCB and have to paythe excess

take the nut off, wd40.. mine were the same, a lot of jiggling later and it came free..... the whole wiper setup moves a worrying amount at the same time though....
