Noisy 182 engine help.

Hi guys having a problem with my Clio 182
Here goes..

When I start the car the engine is really noisy like tapping and there's something loose, but then when you rev it up she goes quiet again until it idles.

Cheap fix or new engine job?
Any help would be great cheers.

Oil level okay? When was it last serviced and is there any history stating timing belt change?

Oil is full mate, bets havnt been done that I no about.

Sounds like a faulty dephaser pulley from the video.

does sound like a common dephaser prob. Cambelt job $$$

Which can be avoided by using quality oils which is changed regularly ! This seems the best way to avoid the dreaded dephaser bust

It's booked in this Tuesday,
Having the dephaser done Cambelt kit and oil change for £650 so hopefully this with solve the problem.
