Non starter....track day on Saurday!!

Odd symptoms so any help appreciated with Blyton looming large on Saturday!

Cars been parked up for 2 weeks until earlier today when i asked my son to move it. It turned over for while before stopping, then was dead when he tried again.

He rang me at work to say battery was dead, new battery just fitted and the same problem occurs!

Any starting points will be helpful.

What voltage is the battery at? Alternator may be shagged. Have you tried jump/bump starting?

Does the immobiliser light stay solid or go out?

Thanks for your suggestions.
Only just fitted battery in near darkness outside so not tried anything else yet, just after ideas for tomorrow when i can see better.
Alternator could be shagged but surely with a brand new battery on it would start?

Yea it would start with brand new battery for a bit mate check the imob light check clean crank sensor if its turning over but wont fire

Starter motor? Is it doing anything when u turn the key?

I have no idea why or how but i tried a key reset that was on another thread and it worked so all is well!
