Went down to helston yesterday to see my brother for my birthday...
Had a set of mounts in my boot, so decided to change them
and where better to work
them things are huge!
wont bore you with pics of the actual mount changing
but will show you one of our ghetto lifting method
all that equipment, and the lift was out of action
The dogbone proved to be the hardest! think the bolts were in the wrong way, so coulndt get them out as the exhaust was in the way. we just used a bigger hammer in the end
Now that the mounts have been done... wow! like a whole new car, gear stick feels really secure and precise
Can also floor it and not get the engine smacking back and forth!
Now, its 6am, i left yesterday morning, havnt slept since and need to go to bed with memories of driving round truro at 4am looking for a cash machine as the garage woulndt accept my card... after feuling! d'oh!
