Noticed somthing today, and its bugging me.

On the inside of the doors where the electric window buttons are, the plastic bits where they sit are different each sides.

Drivers side is the soft plasic with like a metalic silver look, same as centre console. The pasengers is a grey, hard, plain, brital plastic same as the side air vents.

Is this right, cos i dont think it is. Im sure my 172 was not like it.

Ill get pics tomorrow if people dont know what im taking about.

It sounds like one has been replaced - on the cheap. They do weather after some years though and go a bit manky. You could just remove them and then do a respray.

You've got a non soft touch one off a cooking model. Should be easily replaced.
