STEVEY BABY!!!!!
why did you order black in the 1st place?? because thats the colour you wanted it in
if you take the blue one, when the time comes around youll be wishing youd held out, even more so if you see another black vee on the roads, jealousy
hold out the extra couple of months, will be worth it in the end
THIS IS SO RIGHT!! If you wanted the black, then wait for it. A friend of mine ordered a Type R in black last year and a deal on a red one fell through so he took that rather than wait another four weeks for the black. He has been sorry ever since and really regrets taking the red, just to get a CTR a bit quicker!
BLACK isnt blue - My little 172 is black and I could have had three silver ones several weeks before the black was due in - I am so glad that I waited and anyway, as it came in Jan, although I have my own plate, I can advertise it as a 2002 model and not 2001! Likewise your FIRST CHOICE BLACK would be 2004 and the blue 2003, even though you have your own plate too, and when it comes to selling it on, it will have a replacement plate on it showing the year!
Another thing is that on the Mk 1 V6 black wasnt available, whereas blue was, even though it might be slightly different. NOT AS DIFFERENT AS A RARER NEW BLACK V6!!

Get the blue one - it looks wonderful - much nicer on the car than in the brochure. Blacks an absolute nightmare to keep clean!
Wibbl.
But how stunning does a shiny black car look???
Probably quite nice for the 30 seconds immediately after its been cleaned and polished........and then a sort of streaky dusty black.Quote: Originally posted by GirlRacer on 14 November 2003
