Official UK 172. Is it Thatcham 1

Now got a quote from NU Direct and I said my 172 was Thatcham 1 approved. The car is an offical Uk dealer sourced car with the alarm.

Was I right in believing it is Thatcham 1. Im sure thats what I told Tesco when i insured it last year!

NU Direct = £483.??
Tesco = £449.?? (without protected NCD), £523.?? (with protected NCD)

Yeah official UK cars come with an insurance approved alarm fitted.

if you do a search for Cobra 7928, that will give you the spec of the alarm fitted. Also yes it is a Cat 1 alarm.
