im 36 , the only thing that will stop me driving my valver is when i cant climb over the door bar and squeeze my ass in the cobra.........
Snap...I thought I was the oldest valver driver on here, now am not alone!!!

Still havent driven anything I like as much as i do this car, even if there is always a mechanical prob.

Someone said the other day thats a bit of a young car for you , I said its ten years old, not that young.

Hello fellas,

Being old and driving a proper Renaultsportler - whats in it?

Well, for me, a man is old when he/she feels old. I m in my 40s and let me tell ya I enjoy puffing in the back of those (too) young fagg____s with BMWs, AUDIs and the like (especially those whose cars were bought by their papas, mamas and grannies).

I enjoy looking at their stupid faces when they realize that their Beemers just dont go that fast. And they cost twice and three times the Clios price.

So this is about having a Renaultsportler.

when i think old though im not thinking 30s 40s or 50s. More like this thread started with I imagined a car full of people getting out and getting their zimmers (sp?) out from under the boot net in the boot... :)

Im with 007 and 2 Live here. Im glad I didnt have a quick car when I was a teenager cos Id be dead by now.

Im 31 and still driving my hot hatch. Ive thought about getting a sensible estate now, but cant bring myself to do it. In fact if anything the older I get the more impractical my car gets. Current spec is two bucket seats, four point harnesses and a roll cage LOL

lol.............not only that mate..................but the older i get the more speed/risks it takes to thrill me lol................dunno if its jus me or not tho...........cant wait for the mrs to get a sensible family car, then i can have mine strippedc n race ready lol

only prob is..................she likes driving the willy too much lol.............altho she s not a great fan of being in the passenger seat when im drivin for some reason lol

Theres loads of old people who drive 172/182s around here, like Jon said, its the top spec model

And whats this about them not being able to handle it...its not that quick under 5k, and i doubt it will ever be anywhere near 5k!
