It looks very good any decent reviews on DW yet?

Forgive my n00bness, is this classed as 'paint correction'?

The before/after shot looks quite impressive and I do have a fair bit of light swirling on my bonnet from previous owners. Would this replace your standard polishing phase?

It is Benny. Paint Correction is a wide term, used for all stages of polishing and prepping paint, back to perfect conditions.

It does look impressive and it would help a lot of diy detailers/enthusiasts correct their car imo.

Switching pads with no need to switch polishes is very cool and time conserving.

Kool thanks.

Sounds like this has more benefits than your regular polish such as SRP for example. Does something like SRP have any cutting compounds in it? I seem to remember reading it's more likely to mask or fill imperfections as opposed to remove them.

Would you need to be extra careful with the Hyper Polish as not to over do it and damage the finish by pressing too hard? Also do you know if it needs to be applied using a MP or will a hand mitt do the job?

Edit: Can one just rinse, wash, dry, clay/rinse and then use hyper polish before sealing/waxing? or are there other necesary phases?

SRP does have cut, but very very limited amounts. It is more of a filler but is still very useful basic product for wheels, metal, glass etc etc.

As with all polishes, you are working with a finite amount of top coat on your car's paintwork. All polishes will go through this with time. Some take minutes of pressing hard, others like SRP will take years.

This polish is designed for use with a machine, so would forget it for hand use. Are you machining or hand polishing Benny?

Ahh I see. So they penetrate through your clearcoat (which makes sense) and also makes sense as to why sealing is so important.

I'm currently hand polishing, have only ever actually polished once the week before last. Did an alright job ( I think) however I now have some other products such as AG Tar Remover, Megs Claying kit and some AG HD wax to use. So will be re-doing it again next weekend as there's a fair bit of tar and other imperfections I can feel. I also have a pressure washer a my disposal so can finally tackle my wheels & seal those too. So I shouldn't be needing to polish again for a few months as doing it too often is pointless right?

So will probaly pick up a machine polisher between now and then and get practising on some panels, or my old car if I haven't sold it as that is 15 years old and in a shocking state, actually not that bad but could see a massive improvement on it I imagine.

I need to educate myself on machine polishing, especially as the paint on my 182 is soft (so I read) but I can also tell by how bloody easily it stone chips!

Remember Hyper Compound Spray is out next week too - this has the same level of cut as 3.02/FCP/105... clever combination of SMAT and DAT technology and making it easy to use!

Both from optimum Russ?

Surely that's going back to changing polishes again!

I'm a big 3m fan with their colour system.

It's just a stronger version where needed, so will cut more but won't finish down quite so well

Pretty good stuff....

50/50 on a rock hard Fabia vRS:

Yep, perfectly, and that was on a 3M Cutting Pad (Green one).

It was fine from cold too - no issues at all, lovely to use!

Revolutionary?

Sounds like it. Will the old school miss messing about with polish/pad combos tho. I'm guessing this eliminates the need for other polished other than maybe a final finish?
