Out and About in the Trophy

Saturday was a nice day and it would have been rude not to take the Trophy out for a short drive. Well, that short drive turned into 300 miles of fun (apart from the 22 mile stint stuck behind a Harley Davidson cruise).

I didn't take too many photos but here's a selection.

Cheers!

Cheers.

wow that looks stunning, think plain number plates would be better but thats my personal choice, but LOVELY overall

300 miles! I dont even do that in a week lol. Car looks mint. very clean and bet it was real fun. I miss my rs for the random drives. don't feel like doing it in the zs

Thank you for the comments - always very much welcomed and appreciated. :D

Pa, spose it looks alright Andy ;)
Heh heh, cheers Russ! The old gal is doing well, apart from a shed load more stone chips... but she's there to be driven so I'm not complaining.

By far my favourite Trophy on CS. Stunning Andy!
Thank you! Now, how much do I owe you again? Tenner wasn't it? :D

To be fair I had only intended to head out and knock up about 100-150 miles tops but I kinda got carried away and ended up all over the place. But - as mentioned above - I bought the Trophy to drive it rather than just to look good sat on the driveway or in the garage. Sounds like you're really missing the RS... are you tempted back?

loving the trophiness
Thanks mate. Without wanting to be a brown-noser, it's your photographs and artistic eye that have got me interested in trying shooting some different subjects - some of the work you've produced is simply stunning.

"thanks lyn" lol!

nice car, my only criticism is the borders on the number plates look a bit chavvy!
Perfect as renault intended otherwise though!

Your welcome ;)

Stunning photos as always Andy..

and the car will soon get dirty on the tarmac rally stage we are doing next weekend cos if you dont take it around Andy I will be lol

Speak of the devil! ;) Thanks as always lovely.

I must remember to keep the keys about my person all weekend otherwise I fear I won't be seeing much of the Trophy... LOL!

Yeah, the headlights are pretty poor. I've stuck some decent bulbs in there and it's made a noticeable difference; but Xenons would have been nice.
The 182 xenons aren't very good, at all. You getter better coverage with uprated bulbs in a trophy, than xenons on a 182.
