overdone it and took away a bit of the shine

noticed a dirty black mark across the side of my Clio on the quarter panel, it looked like one of the grips on my brothers bike had hit it. anyway after over doing it trying to get it away iv taken away a bit of the shine from the paint and it doesn't have the smoothness the rest of the panel has. is there a product that can bring the shine back at all? i tried using some t-cut product that brings back the natural colour but that hasn't worked too well. any suggestions would be appreciated.

nah i tried to get it away using a sponge while i was cleaning, made the stupid mistake of thinking it was fine until the thing dried though.

Can't see a sponge removing clearcoat tbh, get a bit of polish on it.

Just polish it mate . Autoglym super resin polish .
