P.A.S pressure release valve....

Will try explain this as best i can.

Just had my p.s pump changed. New fan belt etc. But when i full lock either left or right hard to the point where you turn and let go of the steering it moves back that lil bit and you hear the cars note change. ( get me ? ) lol. Well when i do that bit my p.a.s pullley stops spinning, leaving the aux belt spinning over the top making it burn.

So, whats causing this? Ive been told its a pressure release valve not allowing the pump to release the pressure ? Is this right ? Im unsure.

If it is this ok. Whats it going to take to repair ?

Any help or advice on this situation is much appreciated. Oh and all the air is out before its asked lol.

Yeh ive had a new pump. Seems to be fine and working correctly. Just when i hit the lock hard left or right till the point when there isnt no more steering. Get me ? I actually spoke to you about this last week too, over phone. Questioning you about the belt being tight and rubbing the aux tensioner..

Not the pressure release valve ?
