Gemma went to collect this today from a fellow Cliosporter (Kris M). Clio 172 with various 182 modifications including exhaust, alloys, rear bumper and other little trick bits such as polished manifold, shark fin aerial, lowering springs and carbon front splitter. The car has only covered around 36k miles from new, with one owner. To say its spotless is an understatment. Its very much in showroom condition as per the advert. Not a thing out of place, and Gemma is really chuffed with it - a high accolade coming from an Evo VI. It drives superbly, too

The only thing I was dubious on was the tints, but in the flesh they arent too bad at all! :)

Overall, superb motor and like I said, its mint :approve:

Yup, it just like my old 182 (and Gemma's, lol).

Lovin it :)

looks very nice scutch, so is it gemma's car? wheres the engine cover at dude?

Engine cover is left off. Looks much better off in my opinion. Especially as its polished too. I took the cover off my 182 engine as well. It rattled for a start, but I also thought it looked more raw with it off :)

Yeah its Gem's car, but I'm on the insurance policy.

The photo's dont do the paintwork any justice, its a bit more blue than its showing. Iceberg silver as you'll probably all know. :)

oh i dunno mate i think the paint looks excellent on those pics!! Get that engine mount polished too then!! :P

lol ;)

All credit goes to Kris. It was all his work. Top stuff.

I didn't even notice it was tinted, so don't worry. I used to think silver was an old man colour, but having seen more in the flesh I like it much more. Very nice.

Just right. Not loud at all, but definitely not as quiet as the stock exhaust. Burbles slightly when idling :)

looks nice, only thing i don't like though are the wheels, never been a fan of the silver ones, would like 10x better with the anthracite ones IMO

Like you said, minter!
What the hell happened to having something baby friendly though? lol

Women. ;)

The fact two of my mates have them with babies swayed her decision. Although I'm sure with the money left over from the sale of the Evo that she may go that way in a few months :)

The thing that made the 172 nicer that the 182 was that is 'didn't' have the twin pipes!

Does look mint tho!

I'd agree, but in the flesh the car is absolutely tip top and the wheels looks great. A credit to Kris (previous owner). Its spotless and has been so well looked after.

Strange bump, Scutchio!

Yeah, I was going to put it forward for the calendar pics, but when I saw some of the entrants I decided to just bump this one instead.
