Passenger seat stuck

My front passenger seat is stuck in the furthest forward position, I think on the rails.. Basically my mate (in his drunken stupor) fell onto it as he was trying to get out of the back, and now it wont move backwards. It still reclines etc but it feels like its catching on the left hnd rail as you sit in it.

Any thoughts/ solutions?

Not yet, dont have any at home :quiet: but its like the ratchet mechanism has broke, handle moves but doesnt seem to do anything

Seat runners are a common failure, mainly because the clip on the side breaks and it doesn't lock into place, not sure about drunk people landing on them!
