Paxo vs Clio

Car  Shed.
Ok. which would win.

a 1.1 8v saxo. Has alloys. manual steering, manual everything for that matter and no air con. 60bhp i believe.

Or my clio dynamique. 1.2 16v. With aircon.

both are standard.

Round town im sure his would win but if i were to go round the back roads where its quiet and there are a lot of straights, how would mine do. i know paxo's are a lot lot lighter.

1.2 michael!

think youd win on the crash test as well - youd be safe and paxo driven would be a smear lol

Saxo 1.1 8v 60bhp 805kg = 74.5bhp per ton

Clio 1.2 16v 75bhp AC 945kg = 79.3bhp per ton

So you should...... just.

saxo 0-60 12.4sec
clio 0-60 12.6 sec

Will come down to drivers, weight etc. close run thing but clio handles better. If the saxo has larger alloys than standard, this will slow it down

just redline the NUTS off it. and remove one of this HT leads before you start!

Whatever happens, it's still a saxo, so you still win. On every level, you beat a saxo.

ok... i have owned both of these cars so i will tell u what i think

Saxos are a bag of willy juice they are horrible to drive and look shite i suppose the vtrs look ok

the 1.2 16v clio will beat the saxo definatly especially 55mph and upwards

There would be f**k all in it. In every way...

Get to a corner and the Saxo would tip over, or go straight on due to it's trolley wheels. 155 wide, my knob is wider.

The Dynamiques handle reasonably well considering.

A crappy 1.1 saxo wouldn't keep up with a dynamique in the twisties! Have you driven one? They're fooking dangerous.
