i was surprised at the local petrol station, that the car wash was pretty good, but i dont
go near my BG with the brush, the brush just shoots loads of good thick soap out,so i just walk around the car pointing the hot soapy brush at the car, and it stays on real good, then after the car is coverd in soap,View attachment 59526 i put my wash mitt on , roof 1st working down, theres a tap at the side aswell so i rince it every few mins,

then power wash it all off with wax View attachment 59525gloss then , home to polish it proper,
like i said was very surprised how good the local petrol station carwash is,
well the soapy bit at least,:)View attachment 59524

its a good carwash i use the same 1 every time and its always like that,

iv been to a few sh1t car washes around by ours, and i'm staying with this for now,

I do the same with the one near me when I can't get the Karcher out, Sainsburys it is, I spray on the Bilberry wheel cleaner and agitate then spray off and spray the shampoo on and off.
Then use some aqua wax after a going over with the mitt to get it shiny :)

I think you may be missing the main point here mate. If you go home and polish/wax your car, the week after it'll be dirty again then you go back to the same wash place you're going to strip the wax right off. That foam with probably contain heavy soap and TFR.

So what i'm saying is unless you're reapplying your wax every week I don't think it's a great washing method on a weekly basis. Just my opinion of course.

I just use the automatic car wash machine things. Fold your mirrors in. Job's a goodun. I love it when the car moves about a bit when the rollers come in lol

Flol it's funny even though it's a lie.

Everybody knows you're a closet claybar lover!

Nah I got bored of that and just use the carwash now. Funny thing is that Ford actually issued a letter telling owners not to use them as the machines can't see the spoiler and often tear it off. LOL mine's been fine so far.

Rolf! I like seeing the glossblack areas after a carwash. Although your car is white so really no one will ever know!
