Where is best to route cold air?

Currently have battery in boot so I have a cone filter on a 45 degree elbow located behind the Passenger headlight bit want to feed it with cold air.

Both my fog lights are being used for brake ducts/cooling so can't use them.

Any other ideas and pics if possible?

Cut away some of the headlight bracket, opens up the vents in the bumper then, they are not just for show;)

I was confused by the phase 1 comment ; you are driving the 182 from your avatar are'nt you Schwepp ? Or are we talking about a phase 1 bumper here ; where some of the headlightbracket can be removed ?

could you not feed a pipe down to the brake duct pipe, make a hole in the top of it and put the CAF into it. sort of a T piece if that makes sense?

Nah. I have a phase 1 now. Looks like I'll be hacking up a headlight.

i changed my ITG (because it was awesomely filthy) for a paper one and it's fine. No difference whatso-ever .. Have to get it on the rollers anyway to see how my new filtersetup has worked out ; i'll post results.

But changing the ITG to the paper one and having a blast straight afterwards i could'nt tell a difference. Although i must say my 5k kick has smoothened out, but gained more torque below ; this is because i lost the elbow piece and does'nt have anything to do with the filter-element

I'm sticking to paper for the next few rounds

Im gunna be using a paper on my V6 filter but just change it often, it will also be on the rollers in Oct with a paper filter. Tbh if the Cup racer used the paper filters they couldnt be all that bad really.

Will also be interesting to see how much I gain from changing from a Ph2 box with an ITB filter to a V6 box with a paper filter! :) Best £65 I ever spent tbh.
