ph1 172 project

finaly got my hands on a ph1 172 a couple of months ago for a cracking price its going to be for track use an have started geting it ready.i have always wonted one off these as i have a 197 and love it aswell!so hear are some starter pics.

that poll is the start off the roll cage yip makeing my own.

i have also done the timeing belt,water pump cleaned the inlets up a bit haha.usual strip the brakes and cleaned will be upgradeing thow.have also fitted coilovers,rear strut brace and fited two cobra bucket seats.i have removed all the intereor including the dash!i will b makeing my own dash to hold the spedo and air vent controls.also have removed the silly orange wing mirror covers and side strips and iam geting them painted the same as the car.so far loveing every bit off the tinkering

Looks great. I love a bit stripped out Ph1 action, although everyone elses seem to move on alot quicker than mines is. (I B getting my finger out soon though :evil

lol yeah soz mate most pics were taken with the trusty phone haha.i will get some proper pics up soon but nearly fin the car and hopeing to have a little shot at crail the 13th off nov.
