Photography: My trip to Iceland (lots of pics)

Been back a few weeks now, Stayed in the Iceland air Hotel close to Reykjavik town centre, didn't really know what to expect, but absolutely loved the place, went with my girlfriend with the intention of going to see the northern lights, we went on two northern light tours the second free because we didn't see it the first time... sadly neither the second and ran out of time for any more tours, which was a disappointment but i realised the rest of what there was to see made up for it 10 fold, we was there 4 days and it definatly wasn't enough, the scenery and general feel of the place was really good.

The blue lagoon was fantastic, the northern lights trips where worth it just for the scenery, visiting the pearl etc was well worth it, i wish we had more time to go to the "golden city" i think it was called and see the Geysers and the other things on offer, thinking of going to another place where the lights are on show in hope to see them elsewhere.

Anyway im not quite sure why im posting these up but im bored and as many people ive spoke to didn't really know much about Iceland, me including before... so im posting up the pics, and comments and criticism welcome.

We've booked a late Honeymoon there for December, cant wait! Wedding on April 30th so no point going this time of year really so shall go in December when the NL are visible.

Cheers mate, yeah they where fantastic, also the coke tastes better over there, think its made with icelandic water? instead of corn syrup.

RoryW - that's a interesting idea - honeymoon in Iceland. I'm getting married in new york in a couple of years (!) and fancied somewhere different for HM. Iceland certainly fits that bill way betterthan Miami, and its on the way back, cheers!
