Pi$$y pants - Clio incontinence issue

Looking top down through the engine bay i can't see anything leaking. It only happens after the system has been pressurised (driven) then parked up for 10 mins.

First picture is on the drivers side (taken later in the day than the other picture), its not the aircon (as there is always coolant discolouration and the water bottle is going down!). And 50% of the time the driver side leak is followed by one closer to the passenger side. 2nd picture was what I encountered at work, after parking up for an hour.

Radiator? I'm praying that its not the pump (driver side spill), but it would make more sense to be both ends of the Rad?

its your headlight washers, notorious for leaking

The headlight washers use the same header as the coolant system?! I know Renault can be a bit backwards in coming forwards...

The water is dripping down from the plastic engine covers underneath, if it was the washers, I'd have expected it dripping from the bumper. - and just normal agua.

Yip, mine pisses it's pants every now and then.

Maybe it doesn't like being left alone in the dark at night.

It's most likely the headlamp washers, though only one of mine leaks.

Seriously?!!!
Surely the headlamp washers share the same bottle and system as the windscreen washers!

I'd love to believe it was something so simple, but the windscreen wash bottle has been bone dry for months, and the header tank is going down...and the coolant on the drive...

If your that concerned get the plastic crap from underneath off the car and stick your head under there to see if you can spot it.

Not if the coolant level is dropping!! Rad probably, need to get the bumper off/get it up in the air and have a look around. Headlight washers don't normally leak out the bottom of the bumper they leak out the washer and its obvious where its coming from.

as bhm.01 said, if the coolant level is dropping it will 100% NOT be the headlight washer jets. although they are a pain in the arse and prob are leaking which is why mine are in the bin and rubber grommets are in their place.
sounds more like it could be your rad etc. get it up on a jackand have a look around. coolant leaks normally furr over so pretty easy to spot.

12 Posts for someone to give the correct advice, Bandwagon anyone!!

As the man says, I'd probrably go with the radiator wanting to be replaced, If it was a hose it'd so it constantly.
