(PIC HEAVY) Silverstone 27/11/11

  Fiesta ST200
Headed up there yesterday for my first blast around a track and I think its safe to say I want to be back out there again. Having been through karting and eventually running out of money its nice to get back on a track!

So anyway, here are the pics, enjoy!

Hope you liked. And yes, I know it has the body roll of a bus in these photo's. Pushing it around silverstone has made me decide on ds2500's, some decent coilies and a spare set of wheels with decent rubber.

Cheers

Yeah it was great mate! It was indeed. Got minced by some of the more powerful stuff because of the straights but it was awesome fun!

Funny you should say that.

It was my mate in an ST500. Exited the pits before me, overtook him into the new section (Pictured) and he disappeared out of my rear view mirror pretty swiftly ;)

So in answer to your question, yes I did :p

So worth the money mate, awesome fun!

  Fiesta ST200
I might do, although most of the footage was just a load of track glare from the sun :/

The no tripodding was due to bad photography :p It was definitely happening ;)

Yeah mate they were standards, just had new discs and pads on the front.

For anyone else that is going to ask, the spec of the car is :)

Milltek cat back (de cat), K&N cone (bad i know), JMS re-map. The rubber i was using was goodyear eagle F1's :)

Were you allowed on the little circuit?

That was awesome! A proper good laugh!

  Fiesta ST200
Yeah I was allowed the suction mount on, gold track are pretty easy they don't mind :)

Wasn't allowed on the little track, only GP :( but it was awesome!

The brake pedal started to drop more and more after about 3 laps haha! But to be honest they worked alright and managed to turn me wheels black alright!

Cheers for the comments :)

I'm hoping to do some track days next year, just unsure weather to upgrade the brakes. I've used them hard on the road and haven't had any issues but track might be a different story?

  Fiesta ST200
Definitely worth upgrading mate, completely different kettle of fish. I thought I had done some hard braking on the road but its totally different on track. Trail braking etc puts a lot of strain on them.

Im going to leave mine standard for the next couple then invest in some ds2500's :) I've heard they are the way forward.

Thanks for the advice I think I'll upgrade to the ds2500 before I go on track just to be on the Safe side!

Did you worry that something was gonna break after thrashing it all day? Haha I think I would!
