Points Vs Insurance

Im well pissed off - just been flashed doing 34-35 in a 30mph (which used to be 40mph by the way but thats besides the point...) Talking to my girlfriend didnt notice click click...

How is it realistically going to affect my insurance having 3 points? Im insured with tesco but under my dad who is resgistered owner and policy holder..

Dad - 59 - 0 Points

Me - 22 - 3 on the way...

I doubt theyll affect my dad and me much but I wanted to go on my own policy when this runs out in August and Im well pissed off at the timing - driving 2 months after turning 17!

Will they rape and pillage me for: 22, no no claims, 3 points?

Anyone had the same?

3 points shouldnt affect it much, if at all. I think a lot of companies are now wise to the fact that everyones getting them - in the paper today it was saying that Des OConner (72, driving for 42 years) had never had a conviction in his life and now hes got 9 points in 6 months!

What do you think has changed - him? or these damn speed laws?

theres only a 1 in 7 chance its loaded

3 points shouldnt make that much difference really I think it will go down as a SP30 speeding on a public hightway.

My lady works part time for an insurance company I asked her to ask this question for me as I have 3 points and she told me that it hardly makes any difference as so many people have 3 points these days

Also as above its not 100% that there was a film in it may get lucky.

Ditto bug, its rediculous.

I god done for speeding, 60 quid and somehting like 6 points, and a few days ago, got flashed by a one of them traffic light cameras......talking to my GF again, but the light was amber when i was through and it flashed...

bugger i though....more money and mroe points.
