Hi everyone....
Am going to give the car the mother of all cleans very soon and wondered what you guys use for waxing/polishing/paint sealing etc.
I will be buying a lambwool wash mit, and have read the cleaning guides in the guides section so really i'm just looking to see what people use on the car, particularly if you have an Arctic Blue paintjob, and what brands work best etc.
I have a few very mild scratches, some tar build up on the skirts and low down etc. For this i bought AUTOGLYM PAINT RENOVATOR, apparently this can be used onlylocally on the scratch or affected area. Is this ok?
I also have T CUT colour. I always thought this was a cutting agent, and again should only be applied locally. However, my local accessory shop (who have been very good in the past i must say) said this was a common myth with T CUT, and its actually an all in one, and can be used on the whole car. I don't like the idea of this though, as it is a cutting agent, so after i have used it, surely i need to "add a layer back on" with some kind of wax or sealant?
I'm thinking I can use the AUTOGLYM PAINT RENOVATOR on the scratches, then use T CUT on the whole car to get rid of the muck, but then i need a decent wax/paint sealer to put a protective layer on it after i have cut into the paint! Please correct me if i'm wrong, I really dont know a lot about these things, ashamed to say i havent done it anywhere near enough!
So people, any recommendations / tips / seals of approval (pun unintended! )....
Thanks!
