XGL is OK, but again, it's nothing new to Mac people..
I'm moving to Mac OSX if I'm being honest
Vista isn't going to be as good as it planned to be.. MacOSX had all the eye candy I needed that XGL offered (Expose is the main feature)
Mac also does everything I need - well. Good calendar, good mail apps, good browser.. and a terminal. Good apps.
MacOSX == Linux that works.. Really.. it's that good
I can see XGL really helping Linux on the desktop, tho.. just because it is so pretty
