How do you find the 5D? I deliberately did not try one out when I was looking for a new camera as I knew I would want one. It was slightly out of my budget. :D

lol, i made that mistake!

tis a lush camera! viewfinder is incredible

wanted the fps though so stuck with the 40d. :)

  14' Leon Cupra 280
everything is just a step up in terms of build/feel/quality. Full frame sensor also makes a huge difference! Still need a flash though after selling 550ex about 1 month before i bought the 5d :(.Battery grip is also on shopping list as I had one on the 350d and was best thing i bought for it. I've never used a fully pro camera, so can only really comment from 350d-5d, but has been well worth the money imo and would highly recommend just trying one!

Ain't it? lol ... It's an old school tripod handed down by my dad (up in loft and he never used it for a fair few years) It's heavier than the combined weight of the contents of my camera bag

- Nikon 80-200mm f2.8 AF-S
- Sigma 10-20mm f4-5.6 DC HSM EX
- Nikon 300mm f4 AF-S
- Nikon TC-14EII AF-S Teleconverter

Changed a bit too!

- Nikon D90
- Nikon 10.5mm 2.8 Fisheye
- Sigma 20mm 1.8 EX
- Nikon 50mm 1.8
- Sigma 50-150 2.8 EX
- Sigma 120-300 2.8 EX

All fast glass now, so I've finally got out of the constant upgrade cycle. Just a Macro Lens to go and I feel like I'm done, Nikon 60mm 2.8 Micro is the one I'm after, that has to wait until my Birthday (March) though.

Also upgraded to Sandisk Extreme III 4GB cards instead of my old Sandisk Ultra II 2GB cards, the D90 is the fastest Nikon ever made so I figured I may as well take advantage of it, and the increased resolution was filling my 2GB cards too quickly at Motorsport events.
