Potential bogus RS192 exhausts for sale on Facebook - Buyer beware

  RB 182 FF
Awesome not to have to Shell out £400 for one.. You could just Sand that surface rust off, I wish I had £200 to Wave under the seller's nose, these exhausts look Tidey fair play.. Halibut I still Ocean money to a specialist for my gearbox rebuild so I can't afford one of these in my Current situation unfortunately, but I have a lovely custom exhaust anyway so would be Shellfish to have one...

Edited because I haven't joked. Good for the guys who bought one, cracking deal
I bought one,not here yet.. I will wait until its fitted, then see if it was worth it..
Just a quick post to say that someone on Facebook is selling RS192 exhausts for £200 each due to water damage, great deal, however not sure it is legit, the FB page will be updated here -

Just a heads up in case you see it and are tempted, buyer beware, may be legit but vendor has not offered any proof.

my exhaust just arrived.. no water damage on mine, just abit of damp cardboard in the box , thanks mrbroon..for telling us about this bargain...

The same guy posted up earlier that he has 5 of a prototype centre section for these that never made it to final production.
They've got a smoother angle in them.

I've just seen this as well, love that he's put it free's up the system but comes with the added noise so only anti social people apply 😂

I might perchase one of these. I trout there will be much damage but I was a little Koi how legit this was looking at the price. Especially considering some people would sell their sole to make a quick buck on line. Better get my Skate-s on though as it doesn't look like there are many left.

Now worries KLM. Glad it worked out. Mine arrived today. Can't wait to get it fitted. If anyone has a go before I get to it can you let me know what fittings I need to get. [emoji3]

I've made some of them poly inserts and they were absolute cack and split/fell apart. I see some lads flogging loads of them on the Facebook pages, I wouldn't give him a quid for one.

Someone on here said to fill a new mount with high temp black silicon.. I did and it's been awesome, no problems so will be doing it again when it finally fails, which doesn't look like its anytime soon.

Noooooo, order a standard Renault exhaust rubber hanger with the little plastic dowel in.. Then get some high temp black silicon in a tube that you use in a caulk gun, then fill the new mount up with it. I smoothed the silicon around with some plastic leaving it as thick as possible.. I had I picture somewhere, it's not pretty but way better than those inserted polys..

My exhaust just smashed/spilt through it breaking into a million pieces...

the powerflex 008 came today..i can see why they can break exhausts, they are solid.,they are not designed, to be used side ways...i think if I drill holes in them, they will be flexible ..I have ordered 2 new Renault hangers,i will use the old hangers, with the power flex 008s ,to see if I can get ,more give out off them. then use them if the Renault ones .
fail.. the scorpion exhaust has a design change ,has a flexi end ,and a cat support hanger..i have bought 3 new hangers, before the final rear hangers.. all in all, there are 6 hangers.. to share the support..

I'd do as Dave said above, but also wedge something underneath the bottom two triangles. I rolled up some card and cut it to shape and stuffed it in the gaps before I sealed them up. I could of used a metal sleeve that I had at work but couldn't be bothered to wait!

my exhaust has been fitted.. the support kit that came with it,stopped the cat sagging.. its quieter that the single scorpion i had on before, you can feel the extra power straight away...£200 was a real bargain..should get a good few years out of it...
