Powdercoat Or Painting.........

Fancy getting my wheels re-done.

Am and currently evaulating options.

Wheel Specialist will do this: (The Fareham branch, i know the fella with the Evo's uses em)

Alloy,15",Gloss White,Full refurbishment 211.50
Loose Wheels - Strip, Refit and Balance - up to 19" 47.00

Technically only one needs refurbing (small chunk out of one)

Where as ive got a quote from Picador (local vauxhall stealer) will do it for £250. But thats painting.........

Unsure what to go for............

Any advise appreciated.

I would go for painting imo. I had my wheels powdercoated gloss black just over a year ago and the finish was pretty damn good now they have dulled down ALOT and have orange peel to the max.

Im going for white, so not too sure if white would dull down, ill keep on top of cleaning em.

The wheel specialist also offer a waxing service for wheels.

i'd say go for powder coat

my wheels are alot easier to clean now and come up to a nice shine

i think there fine as long as you don't use wheel cleaner on them
