Predictions for Mk1 vs Mk2 day

Anybody fancy putting their prediction down for what their car will do or how the top ten is gonna shape up??

I reckon there is gonna be a 6-4 advantage for the mk1s in the top ten...thats if you include J3ned as driving a clio rather than an Audi :rasp:

I'm reckon I'll be around 14.2 if the surface is as good as it was last year...

well I thought for some reason this was an event exclusive to WC and CS, so my prediction is that you'll queue up for hours, get 2 runs all day, in the wet and they will be against some 4WD car... it's the first day of the season i'm led to believe, so chances are you wont even get to line up against another Clio... can we not get an exclusive event day just for us lot???

it's never been 270, lowest it has been was 290+ and then to 336 and god knows now... depends if it has the bottom end converted to 1.9 or 2.0... in which case expect 420+bhp...

My predictions are lots of racing driver excuses about grip, naff tyres, wrong pressures, being in the "slower" lane, plenty of bickering about weight (so & so didnt have an all day breakfast and thats how they beat me), arguements about mods or the excuse "he's spent alot more on mods than me" followed by lots of sulking from the losers lots of gloating and pisstaking from the winners for months to come.

yup, Yoz is insane behind the wheel, only person I have seen stick with him where corners are involved have been 2 live... also a nut case

it's on the 29th, but every fucker else will be there with their cars... GazTwo is currently looking into getting an exclusive event for SQM's at POD for WC and CS, would need 40-50 cars though to make it worth while... would be around £30-40 then (so i'm told, as I didn't bother working it out... lol).

Don't say that mate, it will be my car that breaks down... again

My tyres are fine, my exhaust isn't blowing, my car is mapped, my cams are in, my seats will be out, big s**t will be taken, my head will be shaved, my racing pumps will be worn, my CD changer will be out.

After owning a brand new one, it would hav to be something special to get me to buy a Renault without warranty. Great cars... but build/reliabilty etc - shocking.

Would be cool to have some kind of Clio-only day. Dunno how feasable it is though.

The Clio only day can be done,Gaz has asked and the first figure to come back was £1500 for the day, so depending on how many people would be up for it then it can deffo happen.

i hope to make an appearance if my car gets thru the mot (also due on the 29th ) ive never driven on the strip before so is just to set myself a benchmark on which to improve really. have no idea what the car is capable of at the moment but mark 1's will come on top
