  A blue one.
Did you use the same IEC cable when you switched power supplies? Maybe the fuse has gone in that.

  Turbo'd MX-5 MK4
plugged it in? lol.

I'd say its pretty screwed if it isn't even beeping. Try another lead as said though.

nope different cable im not "THAT" stupid ;)

actually just noticed that if i turn on and off the switch on teh psu it sometimes makes the cpu fan turn for a little bit only maybe 1 turn tho :S

Ive had a machine that did that.

pull it all apart, and start from bare bones (just motherboard and 1 stick of ram) then build it back up bit by bit. eventually you'll find the part thats shorting the lot.

also pull all the hard drives/floppies/cdroms.. etc

on a 1.7gig celeron

b****cks to that new pc is the only way to go no point spending 40 when 300 will get him a much better pc

My emachine stopped one day so i wiggled the cable in the back and it came on. Then about 2 minuites later it did it again so i wiggled the cable again and it went bang blew mother board and psu. Lucky the hard drive was ok.
