products to buff fresh paint

basicly althought so far the job on the mk1 paint is pretty good, its not got that shine
you would want from a freshly painted car so im going to by a machine polisher, the paint is soft, i dont know whhat products will be best to bring it up to a shine?

any input greatly welcomed
