just for the record a 172/182 turbo @260bhp will be about the same as a v6 upto 90mph
then will pull away after upto 140.
i had ago at clarkie v6 on an airfield meet.
was very close tho i must say.
i was using 17s tho which did not help.
and little did i know he had 50bhp of nitrous to help!
at the time mine was running 9psi.

Just contacted the Bodyshop to see the progress and apparently the front bumper has been shaped to fit the car now and all bodged up and now it's being sprayed. Same with 1 of the doors. Got 1 door left, the Dashboard & the mirrors to finish then shes ready to hit the road.
Sorry for the lack of updates I've had a really shitty start to 2009, My 4 year relationship ended and I got sacked from work lmao. On the plus side I have a hell of a lot of time to put in to the car now.

Well it's been an...eventful start to 2009 to say the least. None the less it's time for an update and the bodyshop have been getting stuck into the car. There's not long to go till this thing should be out on the roads and ready to drive.
One of the door's has been flushed and fitted now;
But the other side still needs to be done;
The bodykit for the front has almost been finished, it has been cut to fit the arches and reshaped to fit. It's just held on with tape at the moment to get a rough idea as we need to fit the headlights first. These need to be wired in and I need the actual connector's. So if anyone has the connectors to fit the HB3 and the rest of the headlights from the 172 ph1 please let me know a price and I will buy them.
Lastly the screen has been flushed into the dashboard and painted

it's all staying, everything on the console will remain OEM except the screen.

I sold my Honda S2000 and bought a Ph2 172. Just using it as a beater through the winter months. Going to go for a supercharged/turbo S2000 or an Evo 8 MR next I think.

It's a bodyshop in Walkergate called Parkside, but the guy who's doing it doesn't work for them, he rents a portion of the bodyshop.

Where do you plan on fitting the reg plate? As I have something similar in mind.

I admire your work and your acceptance of criticism, but nevertheless i'm not keen.
The front bumper is very angular, whilst the rest of the front is rounded. Not to mention that it is epically out of proportion! I think if you reverted to a 172 front then it would improve the whole car ten fold.

You should try and find some decent front lights with a black surround, looks really good in this pic.
Yeh, that's a very good point, I could take apart those lights and have the surrounds sprayed black.

well tbh, if i had wanted to fit rs skirts and rs bumper then I would of done that...not to sound condiscending but I have those parts in the house from the 172 crash damaged car I bought, If I did that then the car wouldn't be any different from the other 172's on the site. There are other white clio's on cliosport.net and I haven't just done this 'to be different'. I've done it cause I like it. I appreciate not everyone likes it etc but I didn't do it to please other people.
besides it's all been sprayed and finished I would have to pay a fortune to change anything now, not that I want to.
