Rabbit damage

Car  Fiesta ST200
So spent 3 and a half hours cleaning the girl yesterday, on the way home a wee rabbit commits in front of my car while I was doing about 60.

It appears to have pushed the grille right back, but the rad wasn't leaking and the temp didn't go abnormally high. Is there anything else I should check before trying to salvage something of the bent grille?

Pics attached.

Cheers guys!

Looks liek you were really lucky!! Tbh apart from the rad there's nothing else right by it as far as I can recall, and if that grille isn't broken it should just snap into place again i guess?

I was pretty lucky. I was expecting the rad to be leaking everywhere. But there doesn't seem to be a problem with it!

I'll get it checked when I get the springs and wheel bearing done later this week. Stupid rabbit :(

Looks a quick and easy repair mate.

2nd hand bottom grills are cheap too if its broken?

AC condensor is back there too, so would be worth a check.

I think you've come off lightly there though! The grille just looks like it'd pop back in too.

Yeah as I thought, cheap repair if it needs anything!

No pics of the dead rabbit I'm afraid. I think he is somewhere along the great shefford road in 2 pieces.

I hit a fox a month or so back. I was going to pay for the repair, but in the end it came to around £2.5k. Bumper and all the trim, aircon condenser, pipework, rad, paint and labor.

Sodding fox kicked for a good ten minutes before it died too. Then we couldn’t get it out as it was stuck.
