Just wondered if the guy I raced down the Eastern Road in Portsmouth today was anyone off here?

Not sure what engine size it was, new shape and just said 16v on the side but he caught me off guard from the lights but as soon as we were moving it was level all the way to 80mph till we backed off for a 40mph zone. Hope it wasnt a 1.2 tho as that would be a major embarresment.

If it was a new shape one, then they all say "16v" on one side and then the engine size on the other. Could be a 1.2, 1.4 or 1.6. Mind you, all of them are quick for what they are (you couldnt say that about the old Mk1 1.2 - I had one!) and the 1.6 16v was the kind of sporty one before the 172 arrived.
