RB paint restoration

Hey guys,

Its not the easiest to take a picture of, but as you can see the bonnet on my RB 182 has gone incredibly flat and swirly. I’ve used an DA with meguires ultimate compound but no improvement. Any ideas of pads/compounds which will help or is it too far gone to polish out?

Try a better compound for sure

Megs ultimate should shift that, try a more agressive pad.

I found Renault paint to be solid as hell on my Monaco, needed to be quite agressive to make a difference

White menzerna pad with menzerna 400 is what you want. Perfect combination for that.

This is why I love mine. As flat as a pancake but not a swirl in sight

Use 3Mcompound the name is fast cut extreme with a 3M Green machine Polish pad/ Head.keep the machine polisher at low speed. After use a hard wax, your be happy with the finish
