Renault Clio 172

Recently bought a 172 sport that came with a standard cd player. Have got a kenwood cd player I want to fit but for some really random reason my kenwood wont work in my clio. I tried it in 3 different cars and it works fine. I looked further into it and thought I'd test the volts on all the wires with a meter, the yellow wire which is suppose to be normal 12v shows no reading what so ever even though my standard cd player works perfect (picture in following link). If any one can help or has had this problem before please help!!
