rear badges



  Range Rover sport
firstly took the plastic cover out of the inner tailgate!

to locate the 3 nuts for the lock!

undo them and remove carefully

be carefull with popping 'clio' badge off as its faily week and can snap easily!



gave badges few coats of primer

and then the gunmetal :p will look gorgeous on the car!

Did you prep the badge? Or just spray plastic primer straight on?

Look great anyway!

sanded the badges down! white primer and then the paint! didnt bother with the laquer because it spoils that gunmetal tbh! without the laquer it shows more glitter

Quick an stupid question wot did you use to pop the clio badge off cos as you say they are easyily broken :)

used just an id card mate! can use anything like that tbh! dnt pull it tho i found it easier just to wiggle it out!

just reverse the process mate! was getting abit frustated since it was raining when i was putting them back on plus i had to clue the diamond in which hopefully will be dry by the morning! got tape over the diamond tho onto the insert, to put some pressure on it! help it stick maybe! if not i ll come to that problem in the morning lol!

it will be fine! i study pannel beating at collage and the method ive used is perfectly correct! used the same method on my front badge which i did around 3 months ago and its fine!

yeh sandning is needed!

clio badge needs putting on again as i used numper plate tape to stick it back on but isnt working!
purchased some araldite earlier so best be careful when putting it on with that!

the diamond looks gorgeous tho!

clio badge hasnt worked as one of the pins is stuck in the hole!
anyone suggest how to get it out!

exacly the idea i had! used the same gun metal as my wheels and looks really nice! clio badge is now sorted so better photos will be uploaded tommorrow once the cars clean :D anyone need and help with theres or get stuck just ask (y)

i laughed when people said you cant remove the rear diamond. i can and i did! lol.

i would like to do it but i cant be arsed to remove the renault sport and clio badges. lol. unless i go painted diamond and debadged tailgate (clio holes are already filled and painted)

Did mine at the weekend, came out ok, just need to sort out the other 3 now, not sure weather to do them yellow or graphite grey though..

how about the rear badge yellow, and the push button graphite. look like your wheels then (if i am looknig at your avatar correctly) if not its too small lol

do the front in yellow! ive painted a spare diamond in yellow but im not sure whether to put it on or not
