hi, i had 1 of my rear bearings go recently on my ph2 ff and yes you do hav to replace the discs unfortunately. this is bcoz you hav to use a hydraulic press to push the bearings in/out. as for cost, i paid £150 for 1 side's disc and bearing and that wasn't at renault.

I just bought a bearing for £21.50 yesterday and getting it pressed in today for a fiver.

Rear discs look fine and the pads would have a few thousand left if on the front but being on the back they are gonna have loads left in them so they can stay!

mate recommended i go for the discs as theres a chance the old discs would split trying to press in the new bearing, reckon they needed done anyways, esp the pads.jus can't wait for it to be fixed, noise is unbearable:(
